Description
The design of the traditional Faroese boat allows for hands-on activities and learning. This is especially true for the children on board. You can sit in the stern of the boat by the rudder and stear the boat, or you can controll the outboard engine. If you reach out your hand, you can touch the sea.
From the Funningsfjørður marina you sail out through the fiord. On the tour you sail close by the dramatic seashores with gorges. You come close to nature and observe marinelife and birds.
There are several good fishing areas by Elduvík and Funningur. When you have reached the fishing grounds, the outboard engine is turned off, and you cast your fishing lines. You may be in luck to catch several species of fish including Atlantic cod, haddock, whiting, redfish, ling, saithe and plaice. If you are unfamiliar with fishing, do not worry. Sea-angling is very easy to learn and fun too!

Family with children tour: This is a private fishing trip for families with children. There can be up to 5 persons on board.
Available: By schedule from June through August and otherwise by request.
Price: DKK 3885 for a boat with skipper and fishing gear to up to 5 persons.

Safety: Each guest receives a floating suit, boots and lifejacket. Safety equipment and lifeboat are on board.

What to bring: Remember warm clothes and a bin for your catch.
