boat.fo arrange authentic boat tours for small groups and families, who enjoy active travel. There are up to 5 guests on each tour. 

Sailing in a traditional Faroese boat you come close to the sea, the landscapes along the seashore, the seabirds and the marinelife.

On the Wildlife tours you are the explorer. You sail by wondrous seashores and observe seabirds and wildlife. You sail into sea caves and hear local stories.

The Fishing tours focus on sightseeing and sea-angling. You may catch several species of fish including Atlantic cod and haddock.

The Family tours are designed to engage. The children are active steering the boat, exploring and sea-angling. Mindful attention is given to the living environment.

Safety

We put safety before all. Our boats are fitted with outboard engines, oars and extensive safety equipment. Our Safety Manual specifies safety equipment, crew training and sailing precautions.

Safety

Safety equipment includes life-vests, lifeboat, VHF, GPS and EPIRB.

Weather

Weather conditions affect our activities and sometimes lead to changes in the schedule.

Currents

Tidal currents are taken into acounts as they affect sailing and fishing conditions.

Manual

Our Safety Manual is always present on board and governs all saling activities.

FMA

Our sailing activities are approved by the Faroese Maritime Authority.
